demScript :: Examples
Introduction
This page has examples written in demScript. Some may take editing to get working on your system as we plan to use usage of demScript in our Windows experience, and the things we use it for i.e. administration and automation of repetitive/annoyin tasks, and some may well be tailored to a specific system. But tailoring them should not be difficult.

| The Lab Updater | An example of using http to download and then run an installer auto updating the demScript install. We think during The Lab stage of the cycle having this added to say dartTask to update on the week or month would be useful. But it's also a good example of retrieving a file and using special shell commands to control how it's run. In this case the use of "/silent" to make it run without user feedback required. |
